The Tokerau really is a blank canvas of 200 square metres that can accommodate a small intimate group or up to 120 people. Don’t settle for the local restaurant or bar when you can enjoy the beauty of the Auckland harbour and its surrounding bays.

For individuals and smaller groups, Floating Canvas has developed a range of fun events that allow you to book by individual seat or table. To just mention a few, enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon jazz cruise, dress up for the St Paddy’s Day bash, dust off your big hat for the Melbourne Cup cruise or put on your best poker face for our Floating Casino evening.

Fundraising

If you are a school, church, social club, sports team, charity or other group that undertake fundraising, Floating Canvas has reserved fifty 4 hour cruises each year to support your efforts. As further commitment to being socially conscious, Floating Canvas off-set their carbon footprint by funding the planting of two native trees for every cruise undertaken.

The Sky-Lounge on the upper deck of the Tokerau consists of a spacious covered garden bar, perfect for entertaining guests in all climates. Whether it’s a formal dining setting, watching a movie while lounging in one of the three spa-pools, or listening to live jazz on a lazy Sunday afternoon, the upper deck is the perfect space to kick back and relax.

The stylish Euro Chic inspired lower deck of the Tokerau seamlessly transforms into your perfect event space. From a wedding setting to a dance party, boardroom space to an award ceremony, we have it covered. Sit back and relax while we look after the details.

Throughout the Tokerau we have 12 large screen displays, perfect for sports, movies and presentations. Our DJ booth is equipped with high fidelity audio equipment. The designated band area on both decks allows complete flexibility. We have high speed wifi throughout the venue. Projectors are  available to stream to the upper deck and outdoor areas.

The Tokerau is a fully equipped floating boardroom accommodating 18 seats at the board table in the Euro-Lounge on the lower deck.  Complimentary audio / visual equipment and Wi-Fi are supplied for your convenience. Whiteboards and other equipment are available upon request. The cabin can easily be re-configured to accommodate 50 seated guests for presentations or larger meetings.

Tokerau’s 5-star externally catered menus combined with the on-board spit-roast, BBQ and finger food options provide the perfect variety of delicious foods for your event. A wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available from both the Euro and Sky-Lounge bars.
